Gozleme With Pork

We truly believe no one has mixed these two cultures (Turkey & Cuban) enough, and the result was phenomenal! A flatbread style sandwich with the salty and crispy pork flavor inside, what else can one ask for?


Ingredients:


For the dough:

  • 500g AP Flour

  • 220g lukewarm water

  • 80g full fat greek yogurt

  • 20g extra virgin olive oil

  • 5g salt



Filling:

  • Pulled crispy pork ( or filling of choice)

  • Quick pickles

  • Cheese of choice

  • Dijon mustard


Directions:

1. Mix together the dough and knead until shiny and smooth.


2. Let the dough rest covered with a towel for at least 30 minutes.


3. Divide your dough into 8 and stretch your dough until very thin, making sure it won’t stay raw in the middle if your dough is too thick.


4. Spread your Dijon mustard and your fillings on the center of the dough and fold carefully.


5. Sear each side for 3-5 minutes until crisp and cooked trough, let rest for 5 minutes.
