Matcha Ice Cream Affogato

This might be the singlehandedly best dessert we have made on this page and it is sugar-free! Start with amazing dairy and egg, culinary-grade matcha, and some maple syrup, that's about all you need for this homemade ice cream! This was refreshing, not too sweet, and had an amazing balance of matcha flavor. Get this nutrient-dense N-ice cream.
Ingredients:
1 cup raw cream
1/2 cup raw milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
4 egg yolks
Pinch of salt
1tsp vanilla extract
Coffee
Directions:
1.On a pot bring your milk, cream, and maple syrup to a simmer. Meanwhile, crack open your eggs and set the yolks aside in a bowl.
2.To your egg yolk mixture add some salt, and vanilla extract, and while whisking add some of the simmered milk, make sure you add it slowly so your eggs don’t scramble and this is called “tempering”
3.Once all the milk from the pot has gone through the yolk mixture take that mixture and bring it back to the pot, then on medium heat cook while whisking constantly until the mixture thickens, remove from heat and chill.
4.Once chill put it through an ice cream maker and VOILA!! Matcha ice cream that's sugar-free. (You’re welcome) 😋
